About NINA ALEXIS

Design It Your Way. Disrupt the Norm. Do Life Differently.

Hi, I’m Nina Alexis — Creative Director, Visual Storyteller, and the curator of Creative Momentum. I help visionaries like you turn bold ideas into brands that actually work, with clarity, confidence, and creative direction that doesn’t play small.

My Story: Where I’m From

I’m a country girl, raised by my grandparents who didn’t just raise me, they built me.

They instilled a love of learning, a standard of excellence, and a knowing that how you show up in the world matters. I learned early that image is everything not in a superficial way, but in the way you carry yourself, how others perceive you, and how you represent your gifts.

They taught me that doing your best is the bare minimum and I carried that with me as I stepped into the world, ready to be great. But what I didn’t know back then is that sometimes your best still isn’t enough to be seen. Especially as a creative Black woman in spaces that weren’t designed for me.

The Reality Check: What I Learned

I showed up. I did the work. I delivered.
But I quickly realized people don’t always care not until you speak up, claim space, and let your personality shine through.

Even when you’re tired. Overwhelmed.

At your wit’s end. They still expect you to perform.

So I did. And through every season of burnout, reinvention, and late-night self pep talks, I found my voice and I learned how to use design as a form of power, presence, and permission. I wasn’t handed a blueprint or a brand guide for this life. I’ve had to carve it out with color-stained fingers, big dreams, and a stubborn refusal to shrink in rooms that didn’t know what to do with someone like me.

I’ve spent the last 15+ years helping other people build beautiful things, logos, events, campaigns, visuals, but what I really do is help people uncover the message, the story, the soul of what they’re creating. I’m not here to just make you look good. I’m here to make it make sense.

And trust me, I’ve had to figure it out for myself, too.

Where I Am Now

Today, I run my own creative ecosystem, designing for visionary brands, curating a community for creatives who want to turn ideas into income, and laying the foundation for something bigger: art, business, storytelling, and wellness all woven together into a lifestyle that actually feels good to live. However, It wasn’t until I gave myself permission to build my own momentum, creatively, financially, and spiritually that things shifted.

  • I’m a Creative Director guiding brands and people into alignment.
  • I’m a Visual Storyteller helping entrepreneurs translate their messy ideas into meaningful visuals.
  • And I’m the founder of Creative Momentum, a space where clarity, creativity, and cashflow come together.

I’ve been in the right rooms. I’ve seized the right opportunities. And I’ve learned that you don’t need to have all the answers, but you damn sure need to open your mouth and show up. That’s the game-changer. That’s what I teach.

Where I’m Going (and Why It Matters)

I’m still building. Still dreaming. Still daring to do it my way.

What’s next?
Creative Retreats. Children’s Books. Global Collaborations. World Domination. (Yes, it’s what I plan every night.)

Everything I do now is about giving voice to vision and helping others stop playing small. I am creating space for artists, service providers, and creative souls to stop second-guessing themselves and start building what they were born to build.

Because I believe:

  • The only person who can tell you “no”… is YOU.
  • YOU get to create the life you want to lead.
  • YOU don’t need permission to be powerful.

Let’s Work Together

If you’re ready, I’m your person.

  • Let’s turn your magic into money.
  • Let’s turn your brilliance into momentum.
  • Let’s start building something real.

Let’s uncover your voice. Clarify your message. And design a brand (and life) that actually reflects who you are.

Design it your way. Disrupt the norm. Do life differently.
